Malaysian fashion designer Melinda Looi has collaborated with Belgian 3D printing studio Materialise to create Asia’s first entirely 3D printed runway collection.

Looi’s design team worked with 3D modelers and engineers to create each look, which took months to design before being printed. The theme and inspiration of the show was ‘Birds’ and Looi sent a collection of five avian-inspired creations down the runway all portraying different parts of the animal.
