New York City Bike Share and the city’s Department of Transportation Commissioner Janette Sadik-Kha have released a visual and statistical report card of the bike share program in its first month of operation.
Citi Bike opened to annual members on the last week of May and to daily and weekly users on the first week of June. The report card infographic shows more than a hundred thousand annual, daily and weekly subscriptions to the program and bike riders taking over half a million trips since the program launched. The data on the infographic is current as of June 27, 2013.
Citi Bike, the country’s largest bike sharing program, is funded by a $41 million sponsorship from global bank Citi. For more about the program, you can visit its website.
