A device that can improve your mental accuity and respond to unspoken commands.

There are countless thoughts racing through our heads every second of every day, but making sense of them can often be a challenge. EMOTIV INSIGHT is a sleek, 5 channel, wireless headset that reads your brainwaves and translates them into easy-to-understand information.

Not only can the device tell you how your brain is changing in real-time, but it can also help you to monitor your mental cognitive well-being, as well as optimize your brain’s performance and overall fitness.

Just some of the areas the neuroheadset can keep track of and help to improve include Attention, Focus, Engagement, Interest, Excitement, Affinity, Relaxation and Stress. It’s also safe for kids of all ages, adults, and even those with medical conditions.

The headset does more than simply monitor your brain, it can also respond to it – capable of understanding and deciphering basic mental commands such as push, pull, levitate, and rotate. It’s also able to detect facial expressions such as blinks, winks, frown, surprise, clench and smile.

With such powerful capabilities, the headset has a huge variety of applications in countless contexts such as gaming, hands-free control systems, smart adaptive environments, art, accessibility design, market research, psychology, medicine, robotics, automotive, transport safety, defense and security.

The EMOTIV INSIGHT was also redesigned from scratch over the past year, now featuring a special polymer biosensor system that offers great electrical conductivity without the need for conductive gel or saline solution – all that adds up to a sweat-free experience.

While it’s clear the team has come a long way, they need a bit more support to turn the prototype into a production-ready model, deliver developer kits to those who can help build more apps, and refine the manufacturing process.

Their current Kickstarter Campaign has already achieved 500% of their initial target with over a month to go. It’s clear that there’s a demand for the device, and if you’re also keen to understand how your mind works a little better, then all you need to do is pledge $199.
