Soft Foam Cabinets Protect The Items Stored Within [Pics]

If you own a collection of fine china, or any other set of valuable (but breakable) goods for that matter, then you are probably also aware of the anxiety such a collection can cause when you have clumsy guests, or small children in the house.

Netherlands-based Studio Dewi van de Klomp has come up with a way to alleviate some of your worries in the form of a unique line of soft foam cabinets. The foam furniture changes shape as you fill it with items of varying size, shape, and weight.

In reality, these pieces of furniture probably won’t help to protect any breakables you have in the house, but it doesn’t change the fact that the concept is a novel one. It seems the studio is well aware of this fact as there are no plans for the cabinets to go into production any time soon.

At the very least, the cabinets would be easy to move when you need to vacuum those hard-to-reach places.
