The Cybernetic Meadow Collection is a set of handmade objects that incorporate natural elements to help people reorient their relationships to electronics in the home. Some of the products available include a phone dock with a cork base and interchangeable planter, as well as WiFi router disguised inside a concrete planter perfect for mosses and small ferns.
Cybernetic Meadow Collection comes from a website called The Consortium for Slower Internet that aims to promote information across the web that is more than just a continuous predictable ream of information. It adheres to four principles that include duration, defamiliarization, autonomy and divergence.
The collection also includes a concrete photo display and 16gb USB drive that has been encased in distressed concrete. As you can see from the gallery below, the products have a distinctly organic appearance and would be successful in adding a natural element to any home, without compromising on the technological side of things.
