The Big Green Bus is a west midlands metro bus that was converted into a rental accommodation.
The Big Green Bus is a 1982 city bus that was converted into a traveling vacation rental that comfortably sleeps 6 persons. The space includes a full-size kitchen, three bedrooms, a fireplace, a lounge, and a toilet and wet room.
The bus was converted by carpenter Adam Collier-Woods as part of a “massive recycling exercise.” Collier-Woods bought the double decker bus on eBay, then spent six months restoring the bus. He kept the vintage feel of the bus. For him, restoring the old bus and creating the traveling hotel allowed him to save something that was thought to have lived out its usefulness.
The bus is available from April 4th 2014 and is currently on a glamping site in the Sussex countryside.
