In a humorous attempt to demonstrate the strength of their cleaning technology, Dyson handed over their digital slim vacuum to the British curling team.

In a press release, the company stated that, with Great Britain’s curling teams dominating the competition, they noticed that sweeping the ice looked inefficient and tiring. That is why they decided to offer a solution, and, that is to use a Dyson digital slim vacuum cleaner instead of a broom.

Dyson’s engineers took a few Dyson DC59 units to the curling lanes in Fenton’s rink and let the curling team at Fenton’s test them out. They filmed the test and concluded that the Dyson DC59’s were effective in performing the functions of the standard broom in curling.
