Spill-Free Cup Holder Lets Cyclists Take Their Coffee On The Go [Pics]

Bookman creates an essential accessory for bicycle commuters.

Cycling to work might be good for your health and the environment, but it does make it a little more difficult to indulge in a cup of coffee. The Swedish cycling accessory brand Bookman decided to solve that problem with a simple cup holder that attaches to the handlebars of your bike.

Bookman’s cup holder is made from two metal rings, and a simple clasp, none of which required screws or glue to manufacture. The two rings have different diameters, which means you can flip the holder depending on whether your drink is small or large.

To attach the holder to your bike, just squeeze the two rings together, which opens the clasp so you can clip it on to your handlebars. “The Cup Holder sits firmly in place never losing grip even during rides over bumps and potholes,” said Bookman.

Bookman has already made a name for themselves with indispensable accessories for urban cyclists. Last year they came out with a set of polka dot bike reflectors that not only provided added safety on the road, but also infused cycling with a bit of color and fun. It’s the little things that are likely to encourage people to ditch their car in favor of their bike.
