The fast food chain wants to pilot a program to see how effectively they can automate the delivery process

Over the past five years, the stock price of Domino's Pizza has risen substantially, surpassing the stock of Amazon, Apple, Facebook and Google. Domino's chief executive looks to the future growth of the company and believes they won't be able to hire enough delivery drivers to meet demand. Because of this prediction, Domino's has decided to start testing robots to make pizza deliveries, partnering with the startup technology company Starship Technologies, which PSFK did a piece on in February.
Starship Technologies will provide the pizza company with five robots for the pilot program. The robots have a top speed of six km per hour with the deliveries taking 15 to 30 minutes once the order has gone through.

The pizza delivery robots will start in select cities in Europe.
