Five Feet to Fitness makes it easier for guests to maintain their routines during their stay

Global hospitality company Hilton has launches a new in-room wellness concept that adds a variety of fitness equipment and accessories to guest rooms. Five Feet to Fitness aims to make it more convenient for guests to maintain their fitness routines while away from home.

This new type of room features an indoor bike from British cycling innovator Wattbike and a Gym Rax functional training station with apparatus and accessories that deliver strength, core, suspension and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workouts. The Fitness Kiosk is a touchscreen display embedded within the Gym Rax system, which provides guests with equipment tutorials and guided workout routines. Hilton has created over 200 bespoke fitness videos, in partnership with Aktiv Solutions, in categories including Cardio, Cycling, Endurance, Strength, HIIT, Yoga, Stretch, and Recovery. The rooms also offer a meditation chair, blackout shades for restorative sleep, Biofreeze to ease muscle tension, and a selection of protein and hydration drinks options.

Ryan Crabbe, Senior Director of Global Wellness at Hilton, said in a press release:

“We know that no matter how determined people are about making healthy decisions while at home, the ability to replicate those choices are often not as accessible as they should be while traveling. We’re creating choice and control for guests to drive their own fitness experience.”

Hilton’s Five Feet to Fitness is currently available at Parc 55 San Francisco and is coming soon to locations in Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Las Vegas, New York, and San Diego.
