Lyft partnered with Chicago craft beer company Baderbrau Brewing to create its own brand of beer. The beer is called Five Star Lager and was rebranded from the brewery’s original product South Side Pride. Drinkers who purchase the beverage can find a code on the side of the can to receive a discount of up to 60% off their next Lyft ride.

Lyft believes the branded beer partnership will remind bar-goers who want to have a good time to remember to call for a reliable ride if they feel they cannot safely drive home.

For now, the beer is offered exclusively at bars in Chicago, but the concept could expand to other cities in the future.
