One Of Deadpool 2’s Characters Has A LinkedIn Profile

X-Force newcomer Peter gets the social media treatment with his own page on the business networking site

To promote the movie Deadpool 2, the team at 20th Century Fox has taken social media marketing to a new level by creating a profile for one of the movie’s characters on business networking website LinkedIn. Peter, the newest addition to the Deadpool team, has been given an in-depth, cheeky presence that lists his most recent occupation as a member of the fictional X-Force, which is the movie’s team of superheroes.

Much like your typical LinkedIn member, Peter’s profile also has a headshot, employment history and outside interests. Prior to joining the X-Force, he was the Regional Sales Manager for Excalibur Cutlery Co., and he has a fondness for bees. The character has also published blog posts on comfort zones, work-life balance and “Making Friends with Fear.” Lest anyone take the clever promotional effort seriously, the profile also contains a disclaimer at the bottom that notes, “This profile was created as part of a campaign for Deadpool 2 by 20th Century Fox.”
