The automaker's new Motorrad app and products account for all of crossroaders' navigational and multimedia needs, including hands-free access to navigation systems, route mapping and cross-country music playlists that allows for smoother journeys

Being a motorcycle rider has never been easier now that BMW has released Motorrad, the luxury brand’s answer to every motorist’s navigational and multimedia needs. Motorrad accessories connect to the free Motorrad app and give motorcyclists hands-free access to their cell phones, navigation systems, music, route mapping, music as well as speed gauges.

The accessories, which range from chargers to helmets, are all connected to the motorcycle by smartphones and Bluetooth. BMW’s debut of these new products aims to make owning and riding a motorcycle safer and more convenient than ever before. Enabling riders to access everything from updated directions to a quick call home without having to find a rest stop or pull a risky stunt not only optimizes the motorcyclists’ experience, but also reveals that the consumer need for always-on connection extends beyond homes and cars, reaching even vehicles traditionally associated with a renegade, off-road spirit.
