The two brands are making the to-and-fro aspect of traveling from airports easier, enabling ride-sharing four hours before departure

Southwest Airlines is making finding someone to take you to the airport an issue of the past with their new partnership with Lyft. The app upgrade will allow Southwest passengers to view viable rides to pick up in their area, the trip time and associated cost, and will be available to users on both Android and iOS platforms.

Rides will be available for booking four hours before arrival and departure which is essentially for travel today. With this partnership Lyft will no doubt see a big boost to business and Southwest will get the chance to show that they are willing to go above and beyond for their customers across all facets of the travel experience. No matter if you are coming or going, on time or running behind schedule (well, especially if you’re running late), Southwest Airlines and Lyft have you covered on all of your travel needs.
