French beauty brand L’Occitane en Provence is bringing a fully immersive experience to its NYC 5th avenue shop, offering visitors much more than just products. The brand known for its fragrances and personal care products like hand creams is joining the league of retailers focused on incentivizing store visits by offering shoppers exclusive and personalized services.

Designed by Daniel Contorni and Blackburn, the nearly 2,000 square foot shop features bicycles fixed in front of a background of Provence, offering an opportunity for a social media snapshot. The location will offer hand massages, the chance to create custom souvenirs and even enjoy a Provençal treat. As for products, alongside a variety of L’Occitane goods, the store will also sell stationery from Rifle Paper Co. and water bottles from S’well.

Furthermore, L’Occitane’s 555 5th Avenue flagship aims to bring the history of the brand to life through thematic food and ambience, giving shoppers an immersive and enjoyable experience to remember in addition to any purchases they make.
